With more than 15 years of experience in the sports broadcast production industry, Kristin Hennessey joined the Syracuse Athletic Department as a producer for athletic productions in July of 2017. Her responsibilities include producing over 100 games per year that air on ACC Network Extra, features, and training students to work on broadcasts. In the winter of 2020, Hennessey spearheaded an all-female broadcast featuring women who typically work on productions, together in one show, to highlight the strides made by women in sports television. Headlining the female forward broadcast was broadcasting legend and Syracuse alumnae, Beth Mowins and former Syracuse WBB player and rising star, Isis Young.
Prior to Syracuse, Hennessey was a full-time freelancer working for ESPN, CBS Sports Network, Raycom, and others with a focus on college athletics. During her time at ESPN, she was a member of the start-up team for the SEC Network and school control room productions.
