Hudson Jacobs joined the South Carolina Women’s Basketball staff in Fall 2011 as the team’s director of video services. He joined the staff after spending the previous season in that role for the Charlotte 49ers men’s and women’s basketball teams and the three years prior to that with solely women’s basketball.
While at South Carolina, Jacobs also served as the video coordinator for USA Basketball during Dawn Staley’s tenure as the Women’s National Team head coach from 2017-2021. Those years saw the contingent win gold medals in the 2018 FIBA World Cup, the 2019 and 2021 FIBA AmeriCup, and the postponed 2020 Tokyo Olympics
A 2007 graduate of NC State, Jacobs worked as a team manager and practice player for the Wolfpack women’s basketball team under then-head coach Kay Yow. It was here that Jacobs first found his niche in the sports video world.
In addition to this, he also runs his own company in drone operations and media production and design. He currently lives in Columbia, SC with his wife, Rita.
