Jacob Potter is associate AD at the University of Oklahoma, overseeing SoonerVision – the in-house video production team for Oklahoma Athletics. Since 2018, Potter has had the opportunity to lead an immensely talented staff that is responsible for in-arena entertainment, digital content, broadcast production, and engineering.

A proud graduate of the Oklahoma Sooners, Potter began working at SoonerVision in 2009 doing in-arena replays. In 2010, he initiated the department’s broadcasting endeavors, which eventually led to the department’s first linear-sports agreement with Fox Sports in 2012. Since that time, Potter and his team developed over 10 new studio programs and produced live game coverage across 12 different sport programs.

Having transitioned from Fox Sports to Bally Sports to ESPN+, Potter and his team will take on a new broadcast home with the shift to the SEC Network in the summer of 2024.

In long form, during his time at Oklahoma, Potter has also produced four documentaries: The History of Oklahoma Football (I, II & III) and Sooner Sports TV Featured: Jim Mackenzie.
