Director of Live Broadcasts

Justin Argo joined the Texas A&M Athletic Department in July 2017 and serves as the director of broadcasts for 12th Man Productions. Born and raised in Kingsville, TX, Argo oversees all of Texas A&M’s broadcasts and is the primary contact for the ESPN/SEC Network.

Argo, A&M Class of 2008, returned to Aggieland with over 15 years of live television and post-production experience, including over 800 live events. He has helped 12th Man Productions win several national awards, including two SVG awards for live game productions.

In December of 2021, Argo graduated with a master’s degree in business administration from Texas A&M – Corpus Christi.   He is also a member of the alumni advisory board for the Texas A&M Department of Communication.

Before 12th Man Productions, Argo served as a producer/director with AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain (formally Root Sports Rocky Mountain) starting in 2009. He produced or directed over 120 live Colorado Rockies pre- and post-game shows a season and also produced over 30 live college football and college basketball games a season. In addition, Argo trained producers, editors, and on-air talent for televised broadcasts, and he has been a part of eight Emmy awards, including an individual Emmy award.

Argo was a student worker at 12th Man Productions before earning his degree in telecommunication media studies.
