Morgan Uber joined the American Athletic Conference staff as director of video communications and reporter in July of 2021.
Uber is the primary on-camera talent in the promotion of the conference’s 22 sports and 12 member institutions through the creation of video content on The American’s digital platforms.
Before taking her current role with The American, Uber served as a digital correspondent with the Big 12 Conference, where she was the studio host and executive producer of Inside the Big 12 and an on-site reporter at a number of Big 12 championship events, including the football and basketball championships.
Uber also spent three years as a network correspondent with the Patriot League, where she hosted studio programming and provided sideline and on-site coverage for the league’s football, basketball, and Olympic sports championships.
Uber spent one season as a reporter with Fox Sports Missouri, where she was part of the pregame and postgame on-air staff for Kansas City Royals games. She also served as a reporter, anchor, and producer with KOMU (NBC) in Columbia, MO.
Uber was honored with a Sports Video Group College Sports Media Award in 2019 for outstanding live game production and earned the Kansas City Press Club 2016 Heart of America Award for sports reporting in 2016.
Uber is a graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
