Tyson Hutchins joined Clemson Athletics as senior director of creative solutions in December, 2019. His roots stem from the rise and emphasis of creative video on social media, specializing in short-form, story driven content. Hutchins now oversees creative video for Clemson Athletics and directs all strategy and creative for Clemson Football across all social media platforms. With the introduction of name, image, and likeness in college athletics, his staff has pioneered athlete-driven content initiatives, setting a standard for how creative departments can support student-athletes with NIL.
Prior to Clemson, Hutchins was at Brigham Young University as the assistant director of new media where he helped build the BYU Athletics New Media department.
