Keynote Conversation: University of Texas at Austin’s Jeff Hanel and the Next Generation of Live Video on Campus

Major athletics programs nationwide will settle into new conference homes this summer. One of the biggest is the arrival of the Texas Longhorns to the Southeastern Conference (SEC). A massive facility build in Austin, as well as a rebuilding of an in-house ahtletic department arm are prepared to take UT into its next generation. Jeff Hanel, Assistant AD, Video Production, University of Texas at Austin takes the SVG College Summit stage to share an insiders’ perspective on how he and his team built out their staff and designed their multi-control room live production headquarters. He will also offer his perspectives on how university athletic departments are setting themselves up to thrive in a new era of live content demands, a competitive creative and social media space, the volatile world of NIL, and more.
